Sunday Evening Services
Sunday Evenings, June & July

We do not have Sunday evening services in the months of June and July. We hope
you will enjoy this extra time with your family. Sunday evening services will resume beginning Sunday, August 10, 2008.

Summer Youth Camp
Sunday - Friday, July 8 - 13

The BBC youth will go to camp the week of July 6-11, at Lookup Lodge in South
Carolina. This will be a great time for our young people to enjoy games, attend Bible Studies, participate in worship and praise sessions, and have lots of fun.

Pray for our youth as they are at camp this week!

For more information contact Ken Thornton at the church.

Summer Music Camp for Children
Monday - Friday, July 21-25

Children in upcoming grades 1 - 6 are invited to attend Summer Music Camp at
the church. The camp will meet Monday - Friday, July 21-25 , from 9:30 am - 12:00.
The week will conclude with a live performance by the kids on Friday, July 25, at
7:00 pm in the worship center. Everyone is invited to the performance.

In addition to learning music and performance fundamentals, the children will learn
and perform the children’s musical "Nic at Night" written by Kathie Hill, which is a
musical play for kids about Nicodemus.

The cost to attend summer music camp is $20 per participant which includes a t-shirt,
cd and snacks. Registration forms are located in the church office or may be printed
here from the website. A completed form should be turned into the church office along
with your child's camp registration fee.

Challenge to Build

"Challenge to Build" (CTB) is the name given to Bethesda Baptist Church's
Stewardship Enrichment Program. It is a spiritual plan designed to give a
spiritual response to a financial need. It is to help secure sacrificial financial
commitments for a church's building program.

The gifts are to be in addition (over and above) to any present commitments
families may have made in support of the church's regular budget ministries.
At the same time, CTB aims at strengthening the church's fellowship, ministries,
outreach and encouraging the spiritual stewardship development of the church's
members.

The ultimate goal of CTB, is for each member to "grown in the grace of giving."
[2 Corinthians 8:7].
